I just came across a new feature of Outlook on the Web that could be used in Acumatica v6.o since the new version integrates with Outlook on the web.
Although the above weblink uses flight information as an example, we could use if for product shipments to customers, for RMAs, for quotes, CRM meetings, etc.
You could use it to email daily to the CEO, COO, and CFO dashboard information ( cash flow mgt: Bank account balance +/- pending checks and CC processing + AR – AP )
We could use outlook on the web in Acumatica v6.0 to email automatically all product shipment information when a SO product shipment is released.
I know that you can email a product shipment form to anybody but with this feature, the product arrival can be put in the calendar of the recipient with a reminder.
Traditional product shipment emails get buried in email. The recipient will still make a note in his/her calendar of the arrival. With this new feature, it will be automatically in his/her calendar (just like a webinar schedule).
