My organization is in the Professional Services sector with monthly budgets listed in our agreements. Having the monthly budget figure will be critical for project profitability tracking and client reporting. Therefore, I strongly recommend adding this feature in the latest release.

Yes please .  All our Project Accounting clients would use this feature.

Our clients using PA are NGO's and media design businesses.  Budgeting b period is very important.  NGO projects often span more than a year with reporting to donors occurring once a month,

Design agencies use period budgets to determine the allocation of work load and revenue between different jobs by period.  These business manage the period budgets very closely.  It gives them better control over their profitability and cashflow and it provides a useful target for their project managers.

Finally all clients base their own budgets on a consolidation of the project budgets and the inclusion of non project activities.  As their budgets are period based its important that all project budgets are also period based.

    3 great reasons !
