Ability to set colors on charts

Dashboards would be more visually attractive if we had the ability to set colors for the components of the chart.  Things like the background, lines, pies, etc.  As it stands today, a dashboard looks sort of bland because it is mostly white.

You can already set colors for your chart data segments within the widget.  use the color cell.

Use expressions to specify a color depending on a value. For example, to make a chart element red if a field value is USD and blue if a field value is EUR, specify the following expression: =Switch(Value = 'USD', '#FF0000', Value = 'EUR', '#0A26FF')

Yes, you can set the color of bars, etc.  But you cannot change the background color.  The result is all of the charts look fairly bland.  The attached files shows this.  In both charts the bars are the same colors.  But the background color of the second makes it much more visually appealing.
