'Does Not Equal' Filter in Generic Inquiries

Currently, in Generic Inquiries there is an option for 'equal' but no option for 'DOES NOT equal'.

'<>' is a basic and very useful filter and it should be present.

You guys need to start putting these improvements in ALL supported versions of Acumatica. It's very frustrating that right now my company is in the process of upgrading to 2019 R1 (because your certified ISVs have such a release lag) so I won't see this until NEXT year.

I was referring to the individual header filter [attached, 'Does not equalFilter'], not the general filter [attached, 'Filter2'] which indeed has all the options.
In all fairness, i observed this while helping out another user that did not have the permissions to create and delete filters, otherwise i may not have realized this.
The general filter is a bit complex for most users and having the core filter functions present on the header level would help a lot.
Considering the amount of votes this got, i'm going to assume the others are referring to the same header filter.

Query select * from boats where color <> (does not equal) ''yellow'.

Could you please explain this idea in more details? "Does Not Equal" filter is available in Filter Editor for every inquiry in the system.
