Generic Inquiries - Auto populate Data Field Links

On selecting the table relations, system should auto populate related data field links based on Primary and Secondary key relationships between selected tables.

Introducing such feature would help end users grasp quickly the knowledge to build new GI without the need to know any underlying structure whilst ensuring data integrity throughout the application

Thanks for the link, agree with most of the comments there.

Hopefully it will be implemented soon. Thanks!

It is not available yet, but it is a very popular request, so we're considering implementing it in the future. This idea also exists on this site, you can take a look on it here.

Thanks Vladimir for your quick review. Much appreciated

We are noticing that clients are initially eager to use GI because they do understand the power that is provided with such tools. However they tend to shy away from using GI when they realize that table relationships in Acumatica need to be identified and defined on every GI, which is such a shame not to use such powerful tools.

Alternative option, at least as a temporary option is for Acumatica to publish a Relationship Mapping Chart for all tables/views, covering (for every table/ view)

    - A brief description of its use/contents

    - Primary/ secondary keys

Is this available and if yes, can we have access to such information?

Thank you for your idea. We've been thinking about it for a while, but it is not so easy to implement because there are no foreign keys in DB, all links are declared on BLC level (graph objects).
