Ability to print or email a payment receipt document for a customer when processing a payment

When taking a payment from a customer, they often would like a receipt for the payment.  The payment screen should have an Action for doing so.

    This is a very basic function of an ERP. I am surprised that it has not been implemented yet.  It is a common complaint from our accounting department.

    In any retail setting, it is essential to provide the customer with an option for a payment receipt.  Our customers, salespeople and accounting department would all benefit from this.

    Agreed, we charge a customer direct ACH or Credit Card.  So we always want to send a paid invoice or receipt, not an invoice that is outstanding.
