Add a Time Stamp to Downloaded Files

When downloading a report or form, Acumatica names the file with the name of the report followed by the date.

Example: Opportunity Quote Form (2019-02-07)

Seeing as a lot of forms are time-sensitive and saved as files to entities, it would be a nice feature for the download name to include the time.

Example: Opportunity Quote Form (2019-02-07 10:55)

Even better would be to have the ability to specify the naming convention in the report itself with the designer tool.

    I have found the setting in the report designer that handles this! Select the entire document box and under the 'Data' properties, there is a setting called "ExportFileName". You can use a 'format' function to define what you would like your file to be named. Here I put our opportunity number and the date/time the report was run:

    =Format( 'Quote_{0}_{1}', [CROpportunity.OpportunityID],Now() )

    Wileyska Sandoval, you can retrieve the user who ran the report and put it in the file name:

    =Format( 'Username_{0}', Report.GetDefUI('RowAccessInfo.UserName') )
