Default printer label at ship via codes/add more options in device hub

In advanced fulfillment and using device hub, as of today only one label printer is allowed to print labels. Many customers use fedex and ups, both of which have different label requirements. It will be great if in the ship via codes a default printer is allowed for. This can then have advanced fulfillment function more efficiently

    1. Define the two printers in the latest version of DeviceHub.

    2. On the Process Shipments screen, select Action > Print Labels

      1. Select a Ship Via and manually pick the proper printer.

      2. Add an automation schedule, the schedule can have conditions (ship via) and the default printer defined. The result is that every so often, the system will send a batch of labels to the proper printer.

Note: this workaround requires batch processing and will not print labels in real-time.
