Option to apply Landed Cost Variance from AP to Inventory or Variance account

In purchase order preferences, users can choose for PPV's to adjust inventory costs or go to a variance account.  Landed Costs do not behave the same.  They can only be applied to a variance account.

Idea is to allow us the ability to configure landed costs to update item cost  just like we can configure purchase receipts.

The issue is during AP.  If the invoice is different from what's on the LC Document, we cannot choose where the variance goes.  For PPV's on inventory items, we can choose a variance account or update inventory.

There are many more issues if more than one invoice comes in for one landed cost document, but I won't go into that right now.

Thank you for submitting your idea. As for now (since 2018R2 Acumatica version) the landed cost document creates and inventory adjustment which affects the inventory item's cost. If items are already sold out, the landed cost is posted to COGS account. Could you please provide more details on how do you think it should behave?
