The time fields in AME all display as HH:MM with an input limit of 99:99. However, if you enter 99:99, on saving, it returns a value of 04:39, which is the HH:MM portion of a DDD:HH:MM value. Manufacturing companies often have outside processing times, which would relate to the queue time in the operation, of days, weeks or months in some special cases. By limiting the input to HH:MM, they are unable to effectively use the planning and scheduling features in the software.
