Currently it is my understanding that when entering a data field from the system to display in the notification template it pulls the data directly from the database and not from the generic inquiry. The issue we are having with the data pulling directly from the data base is that we cannot format it. For example we have a notification template that pulls the field ((ARInvoice_CuryDocBal)), we would like it to display the total the way it does on the GI which is "1,722.20" however instead it is displaying "1722.2". As you can see it drops the comma and it drops the hundredths place decimal if it is 0. This does not look right in the Business event/notification template that sends to the customer. If the data were to pull from the GI instead of directly from the database, we would have more control on how we want to format the data.
