An email loop blocker is a preventative measure the stops your inbox from becoming full when two auto response systems are on the same email thread.
Scenario: Customer send email support message to Company 1 who is using Acumatica Cases. On that email they include the support email address for Company 2 who is using a different system. Both systems (Company 1 and Company 2) send out auto responses to all recipients. This results in new emails being created in both support systems in a continuous loop.
Proposed Solution: Create email loop blocker configuration to identify multiple emails from the same address in a short period of time.
Configuration Parameter example:
Timeframe: The amount of time that the loop blocker watches for potential loops after the receipt of a new email message.
Number of Email: The number of emails from a single address in the timeframe above that will trigger a loop blockage.
Remove from loop block: the amount of time to wait before the loop blockage is released against the email address
