There are a lot of times when users ask for the ability to show an alert when a condition or set of conditions are meet.
As an example in the SO301000 Sales Order form in the Document Details Tab if a user selects true in the Free Item field an alert would show (like the yellow exclamation to hover over) that would read "Please enter a Reason Code for giving a Free Item".
Currently this could be accomplished with a customization but would like to see a form in System Management that would allow users to create and manage these alerts as needed.
The entry screen could be a selector that shows the fields in the same manner as user security and once selected a conditions table same as what is used in creating a filter in a Primary List to set the conditions for that specific field. Lastly a text entry field for entering the alert message.
