Default Bin Locations on Material Issues for Finished Goods

Currently, the work flow to issue material to release is as so:

Production Order -> Actions -> Release Materials

Within this process, Bin Locations are automatically populated for components. But when going straight to the Materials Screen, entering in a Production Order, Operation ID, and a Finished Good from that operation, it does not pull in a default Bin Location.

Use Case:

We have multiple instances where a BOM/Production Order will have hundreds of parts and to issue one part feels rather tedious to follow the intended workflow since we have to go to the Production Order -> Release Materials, go through a long list to select a single part, and then release it. It would be much faster and simpler to be able to go straight to the Materials screen and enter the Production Order and item.

We also have hundreds of bin locations where a part could be located, which when looking through a long list can be rather difficult. Especially when we have some stock that is dedicated to specific customer, an item could exist in a large number of locations.

We propose the material screen to either pull in the location set on the production order or the part default ship from location.

Thank you for your time.
