Improve Vendor Account Management (VAM) by adding Requests, Cases, & Purchase Orders

Although you can access vendors from the business accounts screen, it provides very little value to sourcing and procurement professionals. By adding the below tabs, Acumatica can quickly provide a powerful solution for procurement community;

  • Requests
  • Cases
  • Purchase Orders

It may be even better to take an additional step and separate vendors and customers from the Business Accounts screen and create two new areas;

  • CAM (Customer Account Management)
  • VAM (Vendor Account Management)

These two screens would be where sales, marketing, & procurement folks would go to as their primary screen to view/edit/manage customer and vendor accounts. Leaving the existing Customer and Vendor screens to the A/R and A/P departments mainly for account setup and financial controls/management.
