Ability to print directly to printer for AP Checks

For customers who process large batches of checks, they want the option to print directly to a printer as opposed to it coming to a screen first and then printing to the printer. Going directly to the printer will save processing time.

The preview for label printing presents a real constraint when applied on a factory floor with high numbers of serialized products being produced.  It forces the user to enter 2 more clicks which are unnecessary, and when you are trying to do 15 boxes in a minute, just about impossible.

I would like to add a comment:  Along with this, it would be wonderful if a SPECIFIC printer could be defuned for checks.  So the user doesn't 'forget' to change the printer to the MICR printer when printing checks.

    Hi Laura,

This suggestion comes up once in a while, especially about automatic printing of pick lists to specific printers. Unfortunately the problem here is a browser limitation - there is no standard function in Firefox, Chrome or Internet Explorer which would allow us to do that. Maybe in the future that will change, but right now we would need to bypass the browser and go to printer by using an external print server.
