Automatically Populate Warehouse On Shop For Rates Screen

When you "Shop For Rates" on a sales order, the warehouse field is not automatically populated.

    OK, I see what you mean. You are adding the packages manually to your order, and that the packages were not calculated automatically. It should definitely default it from the "Preferred Warehouse ID" field on the Sales Order itself (which is defaulted from the Customer), I will categorize it as a bug on our end. Internal reference is AC-52098.

    Thanks for your reply. If what you're saying is true, then I either have something misconfigured, or there's a bug. The warehouse is filled in on the customer location profile, but when I click shop for rates, it's not populated. Two screenshots linked here:

    Hi Lance,

    The warehouse field on the sales order should have no relationship to the shop for rates; it is actually populated from the customer location and serves as the default warehouse for lines that you add. The actual calculation of rates should look at the content of the order, not the lines. Can you please clarify your requirement, what extra steps it is adding and how you would like system to behave?
