Attributes functionality extend to Transactions.

In the current design system doesnt allow us to manage attributes at a transactional level. It is been raised by few partners so far and is a consistent request. EXPECTED : The attributes functionality should be extended to transactional level as it will reduce the customization work and will help partners to manage various business specific requirements without the need to customize the application.

It would be great to add at least 3 "free" analysis fields on all transaction lines, during implementation we can rename them to suit the organisation. With ability to link them to attributes.

I believe this item has been taken care of in 2018 R2. The Attributes are now called User-Defined Fields and they're available throughout the application on transaction screen, although at the header level, not the line level.

As far as I know, there is no functionality like Copy Notes or Copy Attachments yet. I would think though that would be more complicated because you'd have to specify what Attributes to copy, what would happen when there is an Attribute in the Source record, but not the Destination record, etc.

An ERP customer mentioned has the ability to have attributes on Sales Orders, Invoices, Shipments, etc that actually copy to each other.... It would be great to have a simple Attributes tab just like we do on Stock Items. And then can have a feature similar to the "Copy Line Notes to Invoice", etc. for Attributes instead.

agreed, we need at least an available way to add "extra fields" in transactions without having to go through customisation
