Ability to do a total of subtotaled lines in Generic Inquiry

tAbility to total several subtotals in a generic inquiry.  Currently two separate generic inquires are being used one showing a list of subtotals (by creating a group for each location for example) and then one with a total of the listed subtotals by not using a grouping but rather totaling all of the ungrouped data.

We've added support for top-level totals in Generic Inquiries in 2019R1 release.

Sub-totals is a nice feature, and we'll definitely consider implementing it in the future.

This is a much needed requirement.

Actually, what if this could be implemented like a read-only parameter where the parameter could accept any aggregation formula. The reason to implement as a parameter would be so you could choose where to place each aggregate value on the top of the grid among the parameters. This is how some out-of-the box inquires are already constructed where there are total values included in the same area as the parameters on top.

    This would be quite helpful

If you could just add a line underneath the last record of a Generic Inquiry with maybe a gray background, that would be cool.

Then, when exporting the Generic Inquiry to Excel, if the export routine could use the SUM Excel formula in the Total cell values rather than just exporting the static total values, that would be even cooler.

Workaround: you can currently to this by using the new Pivot Table feature.
