Report Designer option to render a text field as HTML - not just simple text.

Report Designer allows us to print an HTML encoded text field as simple text, but all of the rich text formatting is lost. Give us an option to render an HTML encoded text field as HTML so we can produce high quality reports and forms.

Does anyone have answer to this.

    Sorry for the late answer.

A report can be printed in different formats like Excel or PDF where your HTML code cannot be preserved and shown "as is." so I don't think there is a straight-forward solution for that idea.

Perhaps it is a problem interpreting HTML or CSS?

Adding my vote to this. Here is someone else asking for the same thing:

Business Case here is compelling, especially as more and more rich text gets stored in Acumatica, because Report Designer is the only way that you could report on this data.

    Here is an example:

I have the following stored on the DESCRIPTION tab of the Stock Items (IN202500) screen:

But when I add it to a report in Report Designer, it comes in as raw HTML:

Even this Acumatica feedback website knows how to take those two images that I just posted and display them rather than display the raw HTML :)

We'll think about implementing it in the future, at least in the web version.
